CREATIVEPRENEUR® ADVISORY SERIES

Turn Your Expertise Into A Book

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW BEFORE YOU WRITE A SINGLE PAGE!

Most people start writing a book before answering the questions that ACTUALLY determine if it will work.

SHOULD THIS BOOK EXIST?

WHAT ROLE WILL IT PLAY IN YOUR BRAND?

WHO IS IT ACTUALLY FOR?

WHAT KIND OF BOOK SHOULD IT BE?

Special Guest:

Publishing Advisor : Steve Byrnes

Steve Byrnes brings more than three decades of publishing experience to the Creativepreneur® Book Camp. As Director of Publishing at 1517 for over ten years, Steve guided books from first draft to finished product — overseeing editing, design, and production across print, digital, and audio formats on multiple platforms.

Before his tenure at 1517, he spent more than twenty years in the graphic arts and printing industry, giving him a rare end-to-end understanding of what it takes to make a book that is both well-written and beautifully made.

Steve holds degrees in English Literature and History from Concordia University Irvine, an MA in Biblical Studies from Westminster Seminary California, and an MA in Publishing from George Washington University.

Now retired from his full-time role, Steve serves the 1517 Board of Directors and is passionate about helping aspiring authors navigate the publishing landscape — from deciding whether a particular book should exist at all, to choosing the right publishing path for their goals.

Whether you're writing your first book or rethinking your approach, Steve's breath of experience across traditional, hybrid, and self-publishing will help you move forwar with clarity and confidence.
